# Introducing SubExport: Batch Video Subtitle Extraction

SubExport turns finished video batches into same-named, editable, timecoded subtitle files for production, review, localization, and archives.

SubExport is now available. We provide managed batch subtitle extraction for teams that already have finished videos and need editable subtitle files for production, review, localization, or archives.

## What launched

SubExport can extract visible hard subtitles from the video image. When usable hard subtitles are not available, subtitles can also be generated from speech. Each source video is mapped to one same-named, editable, timecoded subtitle file, with SRT as the default output and VTT or another format available when confirmed before the project starts.

This is a managed delivery service rather than a self-service upload tool. We first review the batch, confirm the extraction route and delivery standard, then arrange a secure material handoff.

## What SubExport is for

A single subtitle tool may return text, but a production team still has to map results back to the source videos, normalize filenames, check timestamps, and prepare a package that can be reviewed. SubExport treats the entire video batch as one delivery unit.

The goal is not only to recover subtitle text. It is to produce a set of files that can be matched, checked, accepted, and used in the next production step.

## Core capabilities

- **Hard subtitle extraction:** read visible subtitles already burned into the video image
- **Speech to subtitles:** generate timecoded subtitles from spoken audio when hard subtitles cannot be used
- **Batch mapping:** retain each source video's base filename to reduce renaming and file-matching errors
- **Editable delivery:** provide SRT, VTT, or another format agreed before the project begins
- **Optional human review:** confirm line-by-line review separately when the project requires a higher review level

## Typical use cases

SubExport is designed for episode libraries, short-form series, courses, training recordings, interviews, knowledge content, and content archives. It is especially useful when multiple finished videos need to enter editing, review, localization, search, or long-term storage as editable subtitle files.

## How a project moves forward

First, describe the number of videos, total duration, subtitle condition, audio language, required format, and review needs. We then confirm the extraction route, schedule, price, material handoff, and acceptance standard.

After scope confirmation, the batch is processed with one-to-one file mapping. Before delivery, we check file count, naming, timestamps, and obvious omissions against the agreed scope.

## Service boundaries

Extraction accuracy depends on source resolution, subtitle size, background contrast, occlusion, audio clarity, accents, and noise. Automated extraction and basic cleanup do not constitute publication-ready human review. Translation, hard subtitle removal, dubbing, and complete video localization are outside the standard SubExport scope.

The website does not accept video uploads or media links. After reviewing the request, we will confirm an appropriate handoff method.
